Why Does God Allow Spiritual Warfare?

If we believe that there is a God that holds sway over all things then we have to believe in some sort of spiritual purpose to the spiritual warfare that some of us seem to attract. Before I go on I would like to clarify that to me the word "God" means a Supreme Being and Creator who is the God above of All. Spiritual warfare manifests itself in many different ways. It can come directly through people and it can come through your thoughts, emotions, dreams, and spirit. For some of us it has come in all of these ways along with open manifestations. Are the people who have been targeted by spiritual warfare bad people? No, in many cases quite the opposite is true. They may be people with a mission in life who are destined to a higher purpose so the adversary tries to derail them at every opportunity. So, if there is a Supreme God why would He allow these battles to take place in your life? I hope that you will consider my view which is that God wants you to defeat (with His help) all of the adversaries! When I say defeat that doesn't mean physically, it means spiritually! How do we win the spiritual battles? By doing good in spite of what has been done to us and not letting the adversaries bring us down. At some point the spiritual warfare will subside. The important thing is to remember to keep moving forward, and keep doing good. Keep lifting up others and God will keep lifting you up. There are some that may find help through reading Bible verses, meditation, prayer, or reading spiritual books. Don't focus on the warfare - focus on making the world a better place because you are here! That is the Spirit of God. If you have endured a lot of spiritual warfare you may find it hard to pray, and you have find it hard to believe that God is still good. God knows that because He's been there!
