If You Were God What Would You Choose?

If you were God what religion would you choose? Would you choose one church over another? What about the races, would you prefer one over the other? These are deep questions that many seem to think are answered by the writings in books. The only trouble is that as you read the different books they all seem to say that God prefers them...

I am sure that the questions outlined above are even difficult for God. If God created mankind that means that all people are descendants. As far as churches go could you choose one? If you say that He will choose the Christian church which one would it be. There are so many denominations with so many different doctrines and beliefs which one would you choose? The sad truth is that many of the denominations don't even like each. So if you are God and chose only one, what do you do with the others?

If were God and chose one religion which would it be? Let's say hypothetically you chose Christianity, what do you do with the Jews, Muslims, Hindus and all the good people in other religions? Is there any chance that the Creator of the Universe is known as God, the Almighty, Allah, Lord, Christ, Om and many other names as well. The number of names for God in the Bible alone is staggering.

So, if you were the decision maker that holds sway over ALL THINGS what would you choose? There are not easy choices. The churches, religions and races have become so polarized with each believing their way is right. Is it? In God's eyes?

If I was God I would look for good people that want to do what is right! Not because someone told them it was right, not because they read it in a book but because in their own spirit, heart and mind they sense the fair and just thing to do. I would look for people who love and try to help each other regardless of their differences in race, religion or church affiliation. I would look for people who love the truth and would come to me and let me reveal to them things that have been hidden for thousands of years. Things about me, the world and it's future.

One more thing that I would do if I was God would be to let EVERYONE know that when you tell people that you are speaking for me or acting on my behalf you damn well better be speaking and doing what is right. There are religious people that condemn each other every day. Their whole case rests on verses from a book. Did they ask me what I think? There are some religious people that believe that God wants them to hurt or even kill people that don't believe as they do. To them I would say - Are you out of your mind? Those doctrines are not from me nor do I endorse or condone such an action.

One last thing that I would do if I was God would let world and government leaders know that a new day is coming. A day when real leaders who care about people and care about what is right will have the power. In business, government, society and religions some of the most corrupt people have been in power. If I was God I would tell them now that the people coming into power are those who stand for what is right. You already know that what you are doing isn't right. I would want them to know these things in advance in the hope that they would search their hearts and conscience before deciding which side they will be on.

God is good... and don't forget it!
