Spiritual Warfare... Ephesians 6,12 - Do You See It?

This Bible verse is from Ephesians 6,12 in the King James Bible.

For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places

Do you see the struggles between ideologies, religions, governments, nations and more? Of course you do! Everyone is beginning to see it on some level. But what about the spiritual warfare that is going on in many peoples minds, hearts and emotions? Do you see it? More importantly, have you experienced it?

I am no longer young. On some levels I feel ancient. On other levels I feel like a child but I have wrestled these forces from the day I was born. Both in the natural and in the spiritual world. Have you? If you have then read on because there are some things that I want YOU to know.

First, you aren't nuts! That's an important one... The spiritual realm is very real, and very powerful. I could go on and on as to how these things may play out in the physical realm but for now I want to deal with the spiritual side. Because the way you think and see yourself is critical to winning this war. The way you think and feel about God (or whatever name you choose to call Him) is also very important.

The spiriual warfare tries to depress, discredit and accuse you. In come in negative thoughts, emotions and even accusations. Does everyone experience this? I don't know, but I have, and I have seen it too! I have seen both sides and they are worlds apart. If you have read this far God wants you to know something. We win!

The side of good and doing right prevails. The word "Israel" means God prevails and God is Good. Are you? My guess is that if you read this far you are. Don't measure yourself on people's standards or any standard other than your own heart and mind. If you want to do good you are on God's side and He is the Captain of the winning team. No matter what you see or feel... WE WIN! And God Himself as experienced everything that you have and more (in a human body) and He knows how difficult it can be.

Trust God, ask for help and try to do what's right and no matter what try to keep smiling even when it hurts. If spiritual warfare has been working overtime against you know this. It is because they know what side you are on and they know what good you are capable of and they want to derail your progress and usefulness in the world. They are real... They are powerful... and they are leaving very soon.

You don't have to blurt out scriptures or anything like that. What you have to do is focus on doing good, keeping a good attitude and trusting God. Once again, We Win!
